Student Instructions

1. Watch the example 2. Tap add and tap your name 3. Use pen pencil to draw a picture of yourself 4. Tap rec and say your name 5. Use move to find and drag the first letter of your name next to your drawing 6. If you want, try using label to type or pen to write the rest of the letters in your name 7. Tap check to post your work

In whole group, model building or writing capital letters while children imitate. Ask students to stand if their names start with the letter. In small group, students can use magnetic letters to build names. Students can write their names using models. ELL or students needing support can trace letters or place magnetic letters on top of a model. Enrichment can include students working with names of classmates.
