Teachers, save “Lesson 1: How are you?” to assign it to your class.

Today we will learn how to ask and answer the question "how are you?" First, watch the video of Profe teaching some new Spanish words and phrases. Then, watch the Como Estas song on the second page of the instructions. When the song is finished, make sure you come back to Seesaw to finish the activity! After you watched the videos, follow these directions: 1. Tap 2. On each page, Profe is asking how you are feeling. The speech bubble is your answer. Use the drawing tools to draw a picture of you answering Profe's question. Make sure your drawing matches the feelings! For example, if the answer is "estoy mal" you would draw a picture of yourself feeling bad. 3. You can listen to Profe reading the Spanish words on each page by tapping the button on the lower left corner of each page. 4. Make sure to do all of the pages! 5. Tap to send your work to Profe. If you finish early, you can watch some of the videos in the Fast Finishers activity. Have fun!
