Henry’s Freedom Box - Day 1 & 2

RL.2.3 Describe how characters in a story respond to major events and challenges. RL.2.7 Use information gained from the illustrations and words in a print or digital text to demonstrate understanding of its characters, setting, or plot. Day 1: First, look through the book: "Henry’s Freedom Box." Then, use the organizer Notice and Wonder to what you noticed and what made you wonder about it. Read the book. Tap Day 2: Read "Henry’s Freedom Box" again. Tap and listen to the book. On a seperate sheet of paper, write what you think about how Henry "BOX" Brown responded to his challenges. Take a of your writing and yourself reading your paper for your journal. Tap
