With the extra time on our hands. Are you interested in learning some new skills or practicing new hobbies? Share what you might be interested in or what you are already doing to keep your mind happy. Skills examples: - cooking & baking family recipes - sewing a button or patching a hole in your clothes - fixing a bike tire - growing a plant from a seed - typing 40 words per minute - learning a new language with a free DuoLingo account - meditation Hobby examples: - exercise/sports (so many free videos online to learn yoga, basic fitness, martial arts, etc.) - reading (find out what genre you actually like) - writing, poetry, song-writing, journaling (journal entries from this time would be really interesting to read when you're older) - taking pictures - drawing, painting, coloring, origami, calligraphy - playing an instrument - soduku, crosswords (since you loved them so much after HSA) - card tricks - stargazing (phone apps can show you names of constellations) You could offer to help your parents with something around the house that they haven't had time to do - it's easier to learn from family than from watching youtube how-to videos. If you're on babysitting duty, create a new game together or teach them a skill you're already good at.
