Student Instructions

1. Spend a few minutes looking through your book. Consider the cover art, read the back cover, and thumb through the pages. You may stop and read headings or other passages that catch your attention. 2. Based on your experience looking through the book, make some predictions about what you think might happen or what themes might emerge in the text. 3. Note that the first sentence of Chapter 1 is “Destiny sucks.” What might this mean or foreshadow about the story? 4. Click add to share your thoughts and predictions. You can choose note or video. Make sure to say or type at least four sentences. 5. Click check to add to seesaw when you are done.
