Teachers, save “Virtual Field Trip!! April 1” to assign it to your class.

Guess what!? Today for our lessons you are going on a virtual field trip! Since we didn't get to go on a field trip this year, D. Renata and I thought it would be fun if today you "went" on one from your house! You all are going to "travel" to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C., USA. Follow these steps to go on your field trip! 1. Click on this link https://naturalhistory.si.edu/visit/virtual-tour 2. Scroll towards the bottom of the page and click on "Permanent Exhibits" 3. You will see a map in the top right corner and the words that say "Ground, First, Second" That means there are three floors to this museum. The little blue dots on the map take you to different parts of each floor. (I am attaching a picture of what the virtual tour will look like) 4. We want you to visit at least FOUR different exhibits. (You can find the name of each exhibit when you hover your mouse over the little blue dots on the map) 5. After visiting FOUR different exhibits, pick two of your favorites. Write one paragraph in English about one of the exhibits you liked. Make sure to include details about things you observed! After this, write a SECOND paragraph in Portuguese about the other exhibit. 6. When you are done, click 7. Take a of your writing 8. Click when you are done That's it! When you have finished uploading your writing to this activity, go to your Portuguese class in Seesaw and upload your writing to the student journal in that class.
