Overview: Grades K-2 Students are presented with a real world scenario to support problem solving and connect learning to every day situations. **Modify this Activity for 3rd-5th grades by using higher numbers and focusing on multiplication and division. (Example: A large pizza contains 12 slices. and our class orders 7 pizzas. There are 28 students in the class. How many slices will each student get?) How to use this activity: Students can work independently or in pairs or groups to solve the problem. Students can use paper and pencil and physical manipulatives and use the photo tool to capture their responses in Seesaw. Materials: Teachers can supply students with physical manipulatives to use to support problem solving.
