The Earth is Alive Use the link to listen to the poem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9hb158fh10&disable_polymer=true 1. click 2. Complete the questions on page 1 3. Turn to page 2 4. Have someone re read the poem out loud while you close your eyes and create a mental image 5. Draw a picture on page 2 of the imagery you saw while listening to the poem. TEKS 2.9, 2.9B This video uses rhyme, rhythm, and repetition in a song-like poem. Students can listen to the song to describe how the rhyme, rhythm, and repetition work to create imagery within the poem.
