Student Instructions

A compound word is when two words are put together to form a new word, with a new meaning. 1) Click on the link and watch the video "Compound Words Lesson For Kids." 2) Click on page two for an example of the student response template. If you click on the recording, the page and directions will be read aloud to you. 3) Click on the student response template: Compound Words. 4) Look at the two separate words. Using Seesaw's label pen or pencil tools combine them to make a compound word. 5) Using Seesaw's pen or pencil tools, illustrate each compound word. 6) Tap check when you are finished.
