Genius Hour 4

We've talked a lot about topics and research, but perhaps your Genius Hour project is going to be to create something to solve a problem or learn more about something. You may also like to teach yourself how to do something like learning an instrument, magic tricks, cooking, sports, or other skills. If that is the case,... 1. Watch the video linked showing the process one child went through to create something really cool. Hint: It wasn't easy. He had to be resilient and not give up when it didn't work and it didn't work a LOT! 2. Complete the "Creative Hunt" template attached. 3. Use your journal to make a plan. How will you learn more about your idea? What materials do you need to get started? What steps will you follow in your process? *Not having a plan, dooms your idea to fail. You need to know that you can access all of the information, materials, and space needed to make your plan succeed. Don't waste time and energy starting before having a solid plan in place!
