In this activity you will learn the history of "Cinco de Mayo" and how it is celebrated today. 1) On page 2 take moment to use the or tool to share what you already know about Cinco de Mayo. 2) Then on page 3 watch the 🎞📽 video about why Cinco de Mayo is an important historical event. 3) The movie 📽🎞 has some great and new vocabulary. On page 4 choose one word that is new to you and use the tool to move the word to the area that says: The word:___________. 4) Then use any tool you have to look up what the word you chose means. After that use any of the Seesaw tools (, , , or ) to share with me what the word means. (You can draw a picture, use words, or record a video telling me what it means). 5) On pages five use the tool to record yourself sharing what you learned about Cinco de Mayo.
