Do you remember the first time you learn how to read? Yes, your teacher taught you how to sound the letters which we called 'phonics leaning'. Phonics or saying the sound of letters together is the first step in reading words. When we say the sound of letters and join them together, we are Blending the sound of the letters to read the words.... Today, we are going to practise more about Blending sounds. 1. Tap add 2. Read the listed words for each blend sounds. Click the link of the videos attach to learn more how to properly say the and read words for specific blend sounds. 3. This exercise is divided into three activities: Activity 1 Blend Sounds /ai/ and /ea/ - Fill in the blanks by dragging the correct words to complete the sentences. Activity 2 Blend Sounds /ee/ , /ie/ and /oa/ - Record a video of yourself reading the following words. Upload upload the video. Activity 3 Blend Sounds /sh/, /ch/ and /th/ - Go around your house and find two things with names that have the blend sound of /sh/ /ch/ and /th/. Take a video and upload upload in the boxes.
