1. Read the...Have you ever wondered? questions. 2. video "The Joy of Books" 3. Read vocabulary words in the sidebar. If you do not know a word, hover over the word and it to you and give you the definition. If you are unable to decode and read the word, the vocabulary words are highlighted in the text. You can use context clue to help you read the unknown words successfully. Remember you may need to read the sentence before and/or the next sentence. 4. Listen and read the article, What is a Genre? 5. When you are finished, go to the "Wonder Word Box" and click take the word challenge...Drag the word to match the correct definition. 6. Try it out...There are several questions related to the topic. Read the questions, choose 2. Remember to use your background knowledge using what you know.
