Take a Peek...Inside a Seed Day 1 Look at your seed. Take a photo and post it on Seesaw. You will soak your seed over night. Place it in water in your cup. Day 2 Look at your seed again. Take it out of the water and place it on your coffee filter to observe it. What changes do you notice? Take a photo and ad it to your diagram. Use the tweezers to slowly take your seed apart. Can you identify these parts: coat, embryo, root, leaves, and food storage? Take photos of each part and add to your seed diagram. Label each part. EXIT: What does a seed need to germinate? Add a caption that explains how you know that a seed has everything it needs to germinate.
