Choose one book you know well. Can you describe a character from the story? Think about the following things: 1. What do they look like? Are they tall, short, giant? Do they have big ears, little beady eyes, scruffy hair ? 2. What type of personality do they have? Are they helpful and kindhearted or spiteful and selfish? 3. Do they remind you of any other characters you know and if so why? You can record your ideas within the template below or you can design your own. Once you collected all your ideas can you put your ideas into sentences? Remember to use interesting adjectives and a range of conjunctions such as 'because', 'but', 'so' and 'where' etc. I have included some adjective word mats for you.
