When you read the text, think about what questions you might have.

After we have discussed the text, and everyone's questions, you will go back and see if you and your partner can figure out the answers together.

FOCUS ON READING - QUESTIONING STRATEGY (FoR_Q) This activity can be used with any text to encourage students to question the text. FOLLOW UP: after this activity has been submitted and class discussion, students should discuss with their partners, and possibly research each question, to reinforce the useful of questioning during reading texts.
