Subtraction - exchanging from a hundred

Calculate the subtraction problems. - Line up your calculations so that the tens digits sit on top of tens, ones digits sit on top of ones etc. - Use a ruler to draw the 'equals'. - Start as far to the right as you can. - Calculate the first column. - Remember you can only exchange from the column next door. - Put your answer below the digits in that column. - Move one place to the left. - Always subtract the bottom digit from the top.
