seesaw Hello everyone! seesaw Use the link below to learn how to draw a shoe by looking at it - Observational Drawing. Here are the basic things you need to know, a summary from the video: seesaw Observe, observe, observe - draw what you see! seesaw Create basic shapes - don't over-complicate seesaw Proportions - use your fingers to draw things of comparable size. seesaw No erasing; just sketch lines - light pencil lines to form the shapes. seesaw Locate start and stop lines - see where lines start and finish. seesaw Visual measurements - to aid with proportions; compare one part of the shoe to another. Watch the video, pause where you need to, and have a go at drawing your own shoe - this can be any type of shoe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdWyajbChAk Draw using your pencil, so following the video up to 4 minutes. FANCY A CHALLENGE? If you have fine liners, feel free to continue watching the video, and add detail using fine liners. Draw it from side on; you may have to tilt it - this is the angle where designers draw it from, as shown in this other cool video of how to draw the Air Jordan One trainer, using a tablet, from a trained designer! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZxY1E2Q6OI Post up photos of your drawing using your device and the photo photo icon. seesaw like Have fun! like seesaw
