Click on the link to go to the Scholastic Learn at Home website.
Scroll down to “Day 4: Earth and Space - The Moon”.
Listen to the two books (fictional and factual) and watch the video.
Respond to the activity in this Seesaw post using the attached template.
Take a picture of your moon.
Label a crater.
JK extension - Draw the correct number of craters in each moon.
SK extension - Select a number, draw that many craters in the moon, then make the number in the place value chart using base ten blocks.
Press the green ckeckmark to submit your work.
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
Students will listen to the stories and watch the video posted on the “Scholastic Learn at Home” website. They will then create a moon by dropping items into sand, and they will draw craters on moons to show the corresponding numbers.
