Student Instructions

1. Tap add to start activity. 2. Select your name. 3. Drag a group of two words into one of the colored boxes. 4. Now it's time to make those two words a contraction with "sunscreen!" 5. Tap label then tap on the smiley face to find a sun emoji. Tap on it to add to your page. 6. Move the sun to cover up a part of the word that would be taken away if we made a contraction. Don't forget your apostrophe! (') 7. Repeat this action for each part of the word that gets a "sunscreen." 8. Now use drawing to write or label to type the contraction for that word on the line. 9. Choose two more words to repeat the activity. 10. Tap rec to read and spell your new contractions.
