####Learn more about Seesaw Lessons and how to purchase: [Click here.](https://seesaw.pub/BuyLessons) ####Overview: The focus of this activity from the Block Boards Collection is to write a narrative in which they recount two or more appropriately sequenced events using temporal words to signal event order. The goal of this board is to get students writing about their own lives and thinking of the events and moments in their lives as actual stories that can be shared and written down. The subsequent boards for this standard will dive deeper into detail and craft, while this board focuses in on allowing students to become authors and storytellers of their own lives. ####How to Use This Activity: The book used for the activity about "big feelings" can be replaced by another text that students enjoy from class and has a SEL component. The directions would only need to alter slightly when providing the link to the new story. ####Standard Assessed: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.1.3 ####Additional Standards Addressed: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.1.2
