You will need two dice. Use dice with dots on them for students more in the concrete stage and use dice with numbers on them for students who are more abstract. If you want to encourage counting on, you can use one number dice and one dot dice. You will 12 counters (could use pennies, counters, beans, anything small to count with). Piece of paper or or recording sheet, or students could record on their device.
