1. After viewing the NearPod presentation - https://nearpod.com/student/ 2. Students will submit a screenshot of the outcome of their Haitian family 3. Using the RECORD tool, explain the importance of a good education About the game: 1. Ayiti: The Cost of Life which is a challenging web-based, role-playing game in which the player assumes the roles of family members living in rural Haiti and try to keep them alive over 4 years. 2. You will explore the effects of poverty and lack of education through an interactive game and develop problem-solving, critical thinking and such life skills as resource management, budgeting, and planning for the future. 3. Play either individually or in pairs, for approximately 30 minutes. If you finish before this time is up, you may play more than once
