Student Instructions

First, you will warm up by solving the perimeter of rectangles. Next, you will read the garden word problem. You will use the grid paper on the 3rd page to create different rectangular shaped gardens that equal a total of 34 feet. Please be sure to watch my tutorial on how to represent a variety of rectangular gardens that all equal the same square footage.
