Today we will use DIVISION to create area models to show how two fractions can be equal, or equivalent. We will create fraction area models to represent a fraction and then draw rows to convert the fraction into an equivalent fraction. First review the teacher slides, and then you will complete the student template slides. 1.Use the shapes tool to create area models 2. Use the pen tool to draw rows to create equivalent fractions and equivalent division sentences 3. Complete each slide 4. Review the examples if need be 5. WOW work? 6. check when done
