WOW! The Incredibles is one of my FAVOURITE all-time movies. I love anything with superheroes or superpowers - my imagination goes wild! And if I'm honest, I get to re-live my childhood fantasy of having superpowers! How cool would that be? Over the weekend, I watched The Incredibles and The Incredibles 2 - (thanks DisneyPlus). And I couldn't help but notice one character and their superhuman ability to run FAST...very very FAST! Watch the link attached to experience a MOMENT from The Incredibles that gives you an idea of how fast Dash really is. Once you have done that, you will need to guide yourself through the Student Template where further instructions and your task has been assigned. You may work independently or in small groups to swap ideas. There are no right or wrong answers for this task so DON'T worry! What we are looking for, is good use of problem solving skills, being able to explain what you were doing and why, and the maths skills that you use. You will create a poster (digital or physical) to illustrate your Mathematical Thinking of this problem. There is a "hint" to show you what we expect you to be able to produce, as well as a 'still too hard?' task as an enabling prompt (you may opt to do this is the task is too difficult but you've given it a go), and also a 'further challenge' if you want to extend yourself! To INFINITY and BEYOND! (wait, wrong movie).
