🌞🌕🌖🌗🌘🌍⚱️🌑🌒🌓🌔🌞 (You will need different coloured chalk for this.) Did you know that you can you can tell time with your shadow by shadow drawing? This is a great way to learn about the earth’s rotation 🌍🌕🌞 For this we need a sunny day - so do this activity when you can.🌞 Start early.⏰Choose a place to draw round your shadow (you could also use a big toy as long as it casts a good shadow, like in the photo for this activity).Make sure you trace round your feet🦶as a base because you will be doing this several times in the day. Once you have drawn round the trace of your shadow, write the time. Look for the sun in the sky - note where it is each time you come out (in your head). Try to come out every hour or two until dark. You could change the colour of chalk each time 🌈 Take a photoof your results! Record your observations
