Today we have a story challenge.
1. Open up the student template.
2. Move the sentences around to make the story

3.
Tap the microphone to read and record your voice.
4.
Tap the check to add to your journal.
5. When you are done, read the whole story again.
Does it make sense?
If you need to make changes, go back and move the sentences again.
Why
Research tells us that listening to stories is important. It helps children learn to make “mental pictures” of what is happening in a story. It builds vocabulary and an understanding of how stories work.
Also, by arranging the story in the order you are building a stronger understanding of the order of events.
