Modeling with One-Step Equations

Click on to start the activity. On the first slide, use the tool to drag and drop the colorful words next to their inverse operations. On slides 2-5, use the tool to show the correct inverse operation and solution on each slide. One slide 6, use the tool to correctly identify the equation to model each situation. Use the or tool to show the correct inverse operations, calculations and solution. You may also use the tool to upload a photo of your work on paper. On slides 7 and 8, use the tool to draw a model to represent the situation. Use the to write an equation to represent the situation. Use the or to show the correct inverse operations and calculations. Then, use to put the answer in context (words). If you do not have a stylus, you may use the to verbally explain your work or upload a photo of your work on paper. On the last slide, use the to place the arrow at your level of understanding.
