Reader's Workshop - Making Predictions

Making predictions - Readers use what they know and have read to think about what is going to happen next! Strong readers make predictions before, during and after reading. Our class novel for this term is 'Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo'. Our focus during our workshops over the next few weeks is making predictions. During the next few days we are going to read together while you make some predictions about what this book may be about and what might happen throughout the text. Use the template provided to record your predictions, the clues you used to make your prediction and what actually happened. When you have finished your daily prediction, upload as a draft and once you have completed all of the boxes submit your work to be marked using the check button.
