Hello 2nd grade! Excellent job discussing and brainstorming ideas for your Saturday Evening Post covers. This week you will design your own Saturday Evening Post Cover, based on what your world/life has been like during the past year. You have the choice of printing the template and drawing directly on top of it, or drawing in your sketchbook and importing a photo of your drawing into Seesaw, and attaching it to the template. FIRST- Watch the video provided for a special news edition about Norman Rockwell! 1. Design your own cover for The Saturday Evening Post, showing what life has been like for you and your family, or for all Americans. 2. Use the attached template, or create your sketch in your sketchbook, then add it to the template on Seesaw! Tips for Success: - If you choose to print your template, take a screenshot of it, and add it to your camera roll. From your camera roll, you can print your picture. - If you choose to draw in your sketchbook, take a photo of your work when it is completed. Upload the photo of your work to the attached template.
