Student Instructions
Today you will be a scientist! You will experiment with objects to find which will sink in water and which will float.
Materials you will need: Large bowel filled with water, pencil, crayon, coin, rock.
1. Tap on the 
to watch SciShow Kids do an experiment with what will sink or float.
2. Gather your materials and tap on the 
button to begin your experiment.
3. Drop an item into the water. Did it sink or did it float? Put a check mark in the column on your graph to show what it did.
4. After you have tested every item, tap on the 
and tell how your experiment turned out. Explain why you think items were able to float or why they sank.
5. Tap the 
two times to submit to your journal.
