Student Instructions

Lego Robotics move because of potential and electrical energy. Potential energy is stored in the battery. When the coding is complete and the start button is pushed, the potential energy becomes electrical energy. When the Pull Bot moves, the electrical energy becomes kinetic energy. The Pull Bot is able to pull gram pieces. Lego robots are slowed by friction. Friction is the rubbing of two things together. Friction is a force that can slow motion. 1. Follow the directions on the Lego We Do app to build the Pul Bot. Take a picture. 2. Put gram pieces into your basket. 3. Test your robot. Take a video. 4. Write down the number of grams that your Pulling Bot can pull. 5. Improve your Pulling Robot. Take a picture. 6. Test your robot again. Take a video. 7.
