My friend, Rebecca, wants to sell two houses that she designed. She drew floor plans of the houses, but she did not include the square footage of the houses. Buyers want to know how big the house is before they consider buying. Rebecca needs your help. She does not know how to figure out area and perimeter. Please calculate the total area of each house in square feet. Also, please calculate the area of one or more of the rooms in each house. As a bonus, figure out the perimeter of each house as well. Explain, in detail, how you figured out the area and perimeter.
