Student Instructions

Hiding Number is a two player game, you can invite your sibling, mum, dad, or a friend to play with you. 1. Use stones or other counters to act out our math story. Student will take turns with their partner hiding some of the stones/counters (under the bowl/cup/hand). Player 1 hides some stones/counters. The remaining counters are put out. 2. Player 2 counts how many counters are left and guesses how many counters are hidden. 3. Both players count how many counters are hidden. Did player 1 get the number right? 4. Students will continue taking turns hiding their manipulative until they have found different combinations for the total number. 5. List all the different combinations on a paper.
