Record a decimal of your choice to 3 Decimal Places - in picture and number form. Then - draw and record to show how to divide the decimal by 10, then by 100, then by 1000. Hint: Think about what happens to the decimal place - and explain what it means about the size of each part e.g. what happens to the units, tenths, hundredths and thousandths?
