Corduroy Story Elements Assessment

Grades: 2nd Grade, Kindergarten, 1st Grade

Student Instructions

Make sure you or your teacher read the book, Corduroy, by Don Freeman. 1. add 2. Use the label label tool and fill in each section. You can use short phrases, not complete sentences, so you don’t run out of room. 3. Under characters, write the names of all the characters in the story (people, animals, etc.). 4. Under setting, write where the story takes place. 5. Under problem, write what the problem was in the story. 6. Under solution, write how they solved the problem and fixed it. 7. When you have filled in all four sections, touch record :record: and read your answers in complete sentences. For example, “The characters in the story are...” or “The setting is...” 8. when you are done, touch the check check and add to your journal.
