Student Instructions

This activity is called pebbles. Have your child select a few pebbles, beads, stones from the garden or the beach. Each of these is going to represent people they miss at the minute. Instructions - Begin by starting the relaxing shore sounds and practicing some deep breaths, some with eyes opened and some with eyes closed have your pebbles to your left beside you. - Pick up each pebble one at a time and place in the palm of your hand. Say something out loud or quietly in to yourself that would like to say to that person, or something you look forward to doing with them when we can! - Repeat slowly for each pebble they have chosen. Taking from the left and placing on your right side. - Keep the sounds going throughout - When your child has finished or seems to have had enough of the activity finish with another few deep breaths eyes closed then eyes open - Draw a few big circles with your arms out in front of you just to wake the body and mind again 😊 Learning Potentials *emotional development *the ability to be still *focus and concentration *processing skills -
