Student Instructions

Find a partner to work with and get a whiteboard and a marker each. Now, sit back to back so you can't see each other's boards. Choose one of you to start and that person needs to draw a simple picture on their board. (Remember don't show anyone your drawing!) Once the picture is finished that person needs to give directions to their partner on how to make the picture using position words, eg Draw a house in the middle of the page. Put a door on the left and a window on the right. Put a chimney on the top of the roof. Remember to give one direction at a time. When you've finished put both whiteboards next to each other. Take a photo Now, use the mic to explain how easy or hard it was to make the picture without seeing it. Think about what the person saying the directions could do next time to make the drawing better. If you have time swap over so the other person has a go at giving the directions. Don't forget to add that one to Seesaw as well Have fun!!
