Short Vowels

Short vowels are vowels (a, e, i, o, u) that do not say their name, because a consonant follows them and blocks their sound. Let's practice saying the sounds and writing some words with short vowels. You may use the following tools to write: A pencil to write. A pen would be cool too. You may also record your voice maybe reading the words to me as you write them yourself. Or you may also video tape yourself as you write them on a board or in a notebook (family members can help do this) I have also added a video link to help you study some vowel and consonant phonemes (sounds).
