Teachers, save “Nonfiction Fluency with a Partner” to assign it to your class.

1. Select a nonfiction book from your reading bin. 2. Find a quiet space with your reading/recording partner. Practice reading a section of your book. Remember to read all the text features and scoop words that go together! Monitor and fix if it doesn't look right, sound right, and make sense. 3. Click 4. Click on camera and take a picture of the cover of your book. 5. Click 1 time. 6. Partner A gets ready to read and Partner B clicks record then After one minute, Partner B clicks again to stop recording. 7. Check the recording. 8. Click 2 times to share. 9. Switch roles so Partner B reads while Partner A records.
