Grab a handful of coins to use for today's activity. Organize some of your coins on one side of the white board. Then write the total. Do the same for the 2nd set of coins on the other side of the white board. Write the correct symbol between the two amounts( >, <, =) See my example for help. Take a photo of your whiteboard with all the coins, totals and symbol. Be sure to take a good picture! Label your values and totals using the tool. Record how you compared your coins using the tool.
