Grades: 4th Grade, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade
Subjects: Science

Student Instructions

The purpose of this activity is to test your family's ability to identify different sounds. You will need a container to put small objects in. Plastic Easter eggs work well for this activity. The containers need to be opaque (so you can't see through it). 1. Gather 5 - 10 opaque containers. 2. Fill each container with different objects (salt, keys, dimes, buttons, Lego's, rice, cotton balls, etc). 3. Test your family's ability to identify the sounds. 4. Take pictures of your family shaking the containers. 5. You can repeat the process with your parents filling the containers and testing you. Take pictures. 6. Click add. Add your pictures. 7. Use the mic to record a summary of this activity. What did you learn?
