Student Instructions

Is the material strong enough to be pulled without breaking? In groups you will predict the outcome before testing the outcome. 1. add Press the green add button. 2. Discuss your predictions for each material with your group. 3. label Press the label tool. 4. If you predict your material won’t break put a 👎 in the prediction column. If you predict your material will break, put a 👍 in the prediction column. 5. Test each of your materials with your group by lightly pulling on them. 6. If your material broke, put a 👎 in the results column. If your material stayed strong, put a 👍 in the results column. 7. Think about how you could change each material to make it stronger. Discuss this with your group. 8. rec Press the record button and take turns telling me how you could change each material. Press pause after each material and swap speakers. If you want, you can use the arrow whilst recording to point to each material you are discussing. 9. check 10. check
