Student Instructions

Water has a density of one. Objects that sink in water have a density greater than one. Objects that float on water have a density less than one. The purpose of this activity is to investigate density at home. 1. Find 10 - 20 objects to test. 2. Fill a tub with water. 3. Drop the objects into the water. Record the results (on paper or by taking photos). 4. Label the objects that have a density less than one. 5. Label the objects that have a density more than one. 6. Record a summary of this activity. 7. Click the green check to save.
