Teachers, save “Spin and Extend a Pattern” to assign it to your class.

1. Load the activity template. 2. Use mic to record you determining the next colors in the patterns. 3. Click on circle dice video to start it generating different colors. Click on video again to pause it. 4. Determine if the generated color can be added to extend any of the existing pattern caterpillars. If so, move just one circle to a pattern. 5. Keep repeating generating colors and moving corresponding circles to patterns until all are filled. If you reach the end of the color generator video, click on the white circle and pull backwards to restart the video from beginning. 6. When all patterns are completed, click pause and check mark twice to save work to journal.
