Teachers, save “Showing Time to the Hour and Half Hour:…” to assign it to your class.

Look at the example with notes. When the clock says o'clock (_:00) Draw the long hand straight up to show the minutes (second number) say :00. Draw the short hand to show the hour (first number). When the clock says it is half past the hour (_:30) Draw the long hand pointing straight down to show the minutes. Draw the short hand to show the hour half-way between the hour and the next number. Complete both pages before turning in.
