Student Instructions
1. Tap Add 
2. Tap Draw 
and draw an animal from the story.
3. Tap Label 
for each missing word to complete the sentence. There are 3 missing words.
4. Practice reading the sentence at least 3 times.
5. Tap Record 
and record yourself reading the sentence. Speak clearly and check your recording before adding to your journal.
6. Repeat for each animal page.
7. Tap Check 
and add to your 
journal.
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
This activity can be differentiated to meet student needs. For example, some students can select one animal from the story whereas another student can add a page for each animal sequencing them in the order they appear in the story.
