Onomatopoeia are words that copy sounds so that when we say these words they make poems and stories come alive and appear more interesting. BOOM! CRASH! POP! These are all examples of onomatopoeia. 1. Read through the poem 'The Noisy House' by Stephanie Mulrooney. 2. Use the tool to find all the onomatopoeia words. 3. Use the to record yourself reading the poem, making sure you add expression when you come to an onomatopoeia word. 4. and think of any other words like this that are not included in the poem.
