6.23 | Stories In Art | Part 2

Grades: 6th Grade
Subjects: Art

Student Instructions

Hi artists! Great job on Part 1, working with the Green Screen by Do Ink app and creating narrative photos that represent your story in art. Today we will begin using the video features on the app, and create a video clip that shares another thing about us that people may not know. For my example, I did a short video clip on my love of Illini basketball. People may know me more as an art teacher and artist, but might not know that I'm also a huge sports fan. So, start thinking about things that you enjoy too, as we go through this lesson. 1. Watch the attached video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEOju2mUW4U 2. Start taking video with your iPad of at least two things - 1. Yourself, pet, item. 2. A setting that best fits the idea. (This could be a photo OR short video too. (Remember: You always have three layers on the Green Screen app. That's always a nice option to have if you wanted to include a third photo or video, but then it gets a little bit more complicated.) 3. As always, do your best in using the Green Screen Do Ink tools and EXPORT VIDEO to your photo gallery. 4. Upload your completed video here on Seesaw. IMPORTANT: When you take video, it is important that there is a solid colored background behind whatever it is you are video recording. (Preferably green, but if not, any color would do. If it is impossible to have a solid color in the background, you can "erase" around the foreground items but the erase marks will remain during the entire video. BONUS: If you created more images or video using Do Ink, post them on the Bonus Material slide. (This is optional.) Be creative and have fun! Mr. Belonio
